This sweet, loveable guy has been with us since he was just 6 months old. Black dogs are often overlooked in shelters and when we say we don’t give up on a pet, we mean it. He is such a wonderful dog and would make a great companion.
This fellow is a 2-year-old, 61# Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Terrier blend. He loves to be snuggled and loved on. He knows several commands including “place” and walks well on a leash. Kermie loves to play with other friendly doggies and has energy to play! He would do best in an active home that will make him a part of their family and include him in their activities. A fenced-in yard where he can run and play would also be a perk. He is housetrained and crate trained and considers his crate to be his “safe place”.
Kermie is currently in foster care with his trainer, who has generously offered training sessions at no charge to his adopter, to help him adjust to your home and for you to learn about his training. What a wonderful gift to help ensure Kermie gets a great start!
If you are looking for a loveable guy to add to your family, please consider Kermie. He has so much love to give and wants to receive.
If you have room in your heart and home and would like to book a Meet And Greet with Kermie, please complete an adoption application.
