Cooper & Shakira

Meet Cooper and Shakira, a bonded pair who have been through so much together and are now looking for a loving home where they can stay by each other’s side.

Cooper is an 8-year-old Poodle blend who is full of personality! He loves playing with toys, especially stuffed toys and tennis balls, and he absolutely loves to run. He is also a professional attention-seeker who will happily let you know when he wants some love!

Shakira is a sweet 14-year-old Shih Tzu who enjoys taking her time to roam around and explore. She loves getting booty scratches and is a true couch potato who is happiest curled up somewhere comfy.

Both Cooper and Shakira:

Cooper does have a mild heart condition that requires daily medication. He also sometimes has difficulty walking on tile or other slippery surfaces due to a birth defect. But don’t let that fool you – this boy can RUN! His body has adapted, and he has figured out his own way of getting around. It doesn’t slow him down one bit!

These two lost the only family they had ever known when their human parents could no longer care for them, leaving them suddenly homeless, but through all of the changes and uncertainty, they have had each other. They are incredibly bonded and must be adopted together. They have already lost so much, and we want their next chapter to be one where they never have to lose each other.
