Chai Is Fighting For A Second Chance – Please Help!

[May 14, 2026]

Just two weeks ago, Chai came to us homeless, scared, and confused. Despite everything she’s been through, she has shown nothing but sweetness and love. She finally had a chance at the safe and happy life she deserves.

A few days ago, Chai suddenly became very sick. She developed a high fever, stopped eating, and had to be rushed to the emergency hospital overnight. Doctors initially suspected pneumonia. She improved enough to come home for one night, but yesterday she took a turn for the worse and had to be hospitalized again. Right now, Chai is struggling to breathe and is in an oxygen tank while the veterinary team works tirelessly to determine what is causing this. She has undergone an ultrasound, multiple X-rays, extensive testing, bloodwork, and ongoing emergency care. Her medical bills are already approaching $6,000, and we still do not have all the answers.

Chai is such a gentle, loving soul, and we are doing everything we can to give her the chance at the beautiful life she deserves. If you are able to help, please consider donating or sharing this post. No amount is too small, and every single donation means the world to Chai and to us.

Thank you for keeping this sweet girl in your thoughts and prayers.
