Do you love shopping at The Animal League Thrift Shop? Then why not volunteer? The store is our main source of income, and we could always use more volunteers to join our growing team. We also gladly accept high school students earning volunteer hours and only ask for a 1 shift per week minimum. Every little bit helps. You can choose what you’d like to do, and select which shifts you’d like to fill.
Shifts are normally 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. but can be customized if needed. The shop is open Wednesday to Sunday. We need the most help on the weekends and during special events like the Wine Strolls. If you’d rather volunteer during the week, no problem, we would love to have you! We could use help with cashiering (iPad really easy), customer service assistance in our Tootsies area showing jewelry, making sure all customers’ questions are answered, processing donations, researching and listing eBay sales, and keeping our store well stocked, neat and organized.
