Meet Phoenix

This 7-year-old male Hound/Labrador blend has truly risen from the ashes. After his owner passed away, Phoenix was found living outside along with other doggies with no one to care for them. When he arrived at The Animal League, his photos told a heartbreaking story—fur loss, a sad expression, and a pup who had clearly lost hope.

Thanks to the love, patience, and dedication of our pawsome staff, Phoenix has been nursed back to health. His coat is shining, his spirit is lifted, and his gentle personality is finally shining through. Now Phoenix is ready for his furever home, where he can be cherished just as he deserves! Isn’t he handsome?! It is truly amazing what a little love can do.
