Cooper and Shakira are a bonded pair and must go home together. Cooper has a mild heart condition that requires daily medication. She also sometimes has difficulty walking on tile or other slippery surfaces due to a birth defect, but don’t let that fool you – she can RUN! Her body has adapted, and she has figured out her own way of getting around. It doesn’t slow her down one bit!
Honey
Meet Honey, a 7-year-old Boxer who is every bit as sweet as her name! Honey came to us heartworm positive and with a heart condition that is common in her breed. She will need daily medication for her heart condition for the rest of her life, along with regular follow-up appointments with her cardiologist. Despite her medical needs, Honey is a wonderfully sweet lady. She is calm, quiet, and happiest when she is simply spending time with her people.
