Students can make a difference

School’s back in session which means your student may need community service hours to fulfill school requirements. What a better way than to host a donation drive for the animals at The Animal League! Students ages 12-18 can take advantage of this more hands-on, Do It Yourself (DIY), approach to helping.

Instead of gifts, students can ask friends and family to donate supplies to The Animal League’s homeless cats and dogs for community service hours. Set up an Animal League collection box in your classroom or an office for much needed supplies like those on our Adoption Center wishlist, Animal League Wellness Center wishlist, or items on our Amazon wishlist (don’t forget to shop using Amazon Smile (search South Lake Animal League) so we can receive a portion of the proceeds!).

Pictured here is Madison who earned a total of 30 hours toward her Bright Futures service hours! Thanks for helping the animals Madison!
